I am delighted to introduce to you this National Defence College - Tanzania Website.  Since NDC inception in 2012, it has developed into a unique College owned by the Ministry of Defence and National Service. It is a Higher Learning Institution, fully registered and accredited with National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). Thus, in addition to the prestigious symbol ’ndc’, the college has the autonomy and mandate to confer Master’s Degree in Security and Strategic Studies (MSSS) and Diploma in Security and Strategic Studies (DSSS) depending on the entry qualifications. These are noble but not easy tasks to achieve.

This Website provides information about the College, programmes, staff and administration to meet these expectations.  We draw your attention on the content of security and strategic studies training in both regular and capstone courses particularly on the emphasis on practicum aspect of the content of national security and strategy.
